E-Foxconn: A new sales channel for leading component maker.
When Foxconn Electronics, an international computer components manufacturer, wanted to sell its products online to consumers and small office integrators, Logic Solutions developed the e-commerce web store that would best serve customers in this competitive market.
Foxconn Electronics, Inc. annually sells billions of dollars of computer and electronic components to major computer manufacturers, including Apple, Compaq, Dell, and Intel. However, the U.S.-based subsidiary of Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. had not previously sold directly to consumers or small-office/home-office integrators.
The attractive, easily navigated e-commerce site that Logic created for Foxconn Electronics contains all the features necessary to give customers a complete shopping experience. They can search by product number or keyword, or browse an online catalog by viewing product photos or text descriptions. An industry-standard shopping cart interface lets customers select products, specify quantities, and check out.
