FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Michigan Small Business Development Centers Southeast Region and Logic Solutions, Inc. will host an informative workshop on mobile app development for non-technical entrepreneurs.

Livonia, MI – The Michigan Small Business Development Centers (MI-SBDC) SE Region and Logic Solutions are partnering to host a “How to Build a Successful Mobile App” Bootcamp on Tuesday, October 17th.  The Bootcamp, for non-technical entrepreneurs who want to expand service to their customers by incorporating the functions, features, and flexibility of mobile technologies into their business, will be held from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Schoolcraft College’s VisTaTech Center in Livonia, MI.

“Given the dramatic shift we’ve seen in the technology sector these past seven years from PC access via browser to mobile apps and mobile-friendly web, it is no surprise that market leaders such as Google have “upped the game” and even enforced metrics to support mobile technology deployment,” said Al Carpinelli, Business Development Manager for Logic Solutions, Inc.

“The workshop Logic has developed is precisely what a business owner or operations leader needs in order to empower themselves when engaging with a mobile developer. Successful engagement equates to knowing how to describe the functional need, translate it into a technology model, and begin the process with clear expectations between the business owner and the vetted application provider.”

Speakers for the event will include:

  • Al Carpinelli, Business Development Manager for Logic Solutions, Inc.
  • Jennifer Pan, Digital Solutions Lead for Logic Solutions, Inc.
  • Matt Sarkesian, Chief Technology Officer for Logic Solutions, Inc.
  • Wendy Thomas, Interim Regional Director of Southeast Michigan Region SBDC

The $50 registration fee includes all required materials and a buffet lunch. Registration is limited to 50 people and will close on October 16, 2017.  You can register at: Mobile App Bootcamp
