 Huan Yan Huan joined the Logic team in early 2008 as a Sr. Technical Lead. She brings a tremendous wealth of talent to Logic especially in the areas of technical design, systems architecture, programming and project management. Originally from Chongqing, China, Huan came to the US in 1998 and received a Masters Degree in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University in 2000 and an MBA from WSU in 2007. Before joining Logic as a Sr. Technical Lead, Huan worked as a web programmer for various companies. Huan has a 5-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. In her spare time, she loves shopping, cooking, watching TV, and spending time with friends.

 Naveen Mamillapalle Logic is pleased to add Naveen as a Programming Intern. Naveen is the youngest in a family of five from a small town in India and has a bachelor’s degree in Computers and Information Technology. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University. His interests include dance, video games and chasing his dreams.

 Chris Buck Logic is pleased to add Chris Buck as an Accounting Intern. Chris grew up in Ann Arbor and attended Pioneer High School. In the Fall, Chris will be a junior at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he is on the swim team and will concentrate in Finance and Accounting. In addition to swimming, his interests include water polo, beach volleyball, and going to concerts.

Logic Solutions launches
a new innovative global website for
Eastern Michigan University’s College of Business
Eastern Michigan University’s College of Business has announced a new website powered by Logic Solutions.
The new website emphasizes EMU’s theme of Innovative, Applied and Global through custom Flash imagery and page banners that allow user managed rotating images to display uniquely to each page selection.
With a strong focus on usability, the site features a dynamic content management system that allows EMU COB faculty and staff to update and refresh sections of the website. The site also features expandable navigation and breadcrumbing, feedback to administrators to prevent overwriting existing files, and dynamic search. A Press Release module allows authorized users to dynamically add, edit and delete press releases or news items to the website.

Logic Solutions Develops Facebook Application
for urTurn
Everyday social-networking sites like Facebook and MySpace become more and more popular. Earlier in 2008, Ann Arbor-based urTurn.com enlisted Logic Solutions to design, implement and deploy a web application that rewards social network users for their actions within these sites. Essentially creating a virtual currency within these already-developed platforms accessible by over 50 million people.
UrTurn is a free application for Facebook (and soon for MySpace) that rewards users with “urPoints” for completing actions like uploading a picture, adding a new friend, or sending someone a message. These points can be redeemed on the urTurn Marketplace for prizes such as Apple iPhones and Visa Gift Cards or they can be sold on the Marketplace where users bid on points earned by others. The difference between this application and other rewards programs is that urTurn makes it much easier to earn points doing the basic activities that attract people to the social-networking sites in the first place.
Logic Solutions is currently enhancing the urTurn Marketplace to include an auction application where users bid points for prizes. In addition, Logic designed the Application Programming Interface and opened its code to 3rd parties, allowing for the design of new and innovative uses of the software.
