Marketing Team Press Releases

MAPAAC-LogoFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—December 18, 2014—ANN ARBOR, MI—Governor Rick Snyder recently announced the appointment of Logic Solutions’ chief financial officer Grace Lee to the Michigan Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission. Joining her are Mahima Mahadevan from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, and Joe Tasma from ZYNP International. During her term on the Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission, Grace will collaborate closely with the Governor and the Legislator to make Michigan a welcoming state for all individuals.

“Based on the 2010 census report, Asian and Pacific Islanders were the fastest growing minority group in Michigan in the past decade,” says Grace. “I am very honored and humbled by the appointment, to serve as an advocate, to support and promote issues that impact the AAPI community, and to advance coalitions and enhance community participation in building a greater Michigan.”

Established in 2008, the 21-member commission housed in the Michigan Department of Civil Rights advances the full and equal participation of Asian Pacific Americans in building an inclusive and diverse Michigan.

Prior to her commission, and in addition to the important role she plays at Logic Solutions, Grace also sits on the Foreign Direct Investment Committee of Ann Arbor SPARK, and is Vice Chair/President of the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the Council of Asian Pacific Americans and Eastern Michigan University College of Business Advisory Boards, Vice President of Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship, and Treasurer for the Great Lakes Chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum.

“We’re very proud of Grace’s achievements, and especially the many ways she gives back to the community outside of work. Grace will be an exemplary representative for the state of Michigan,” stated Logic CEO Jimmy Hsiao.

Grace will serve a four-year term set to expire on November 30, 2018.
