If you’ve been following Logic’s news, you know that last year we introduced the Showcase mobile sales system. As more companies adopt Showcase, general interest in our product continues to grow.

Yanting Zhang joins Logic as a User Experience Intern. She was born in northeast China and educated at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and at Queen Mary, University of London as part of a joint program between the two universities.

Yanting arrived in Ann Arbor last year and studies Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Michigan School of Information. She absolutely loves to eat and she also enjoys watching movies and traveling with close friends.

Dominic Czarnota is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan where he studied Screen Arts & Cultures and Brain, Behavior, & Cognitive Science. Dominic joins Logic as Marketing Assistant.

During the warmer months, Dominic enjoys playing disc golf, running and playing soccer. Otherwise, he routinely reads and listens to music, especially with his newly acquired record collection. As a film studies graduate, he enjoys watching and discussing most films.

LegalHyena.com empowers young adults by giving them the legal information they need to advocate for themselves in daily situations. LegalHyena’s content, created by attorney and law instructor David Sutherland, is written in layman’s terms that give individuals an understanding of the basic legal knowledge necessary to protect themselves and know their legal rights in a multitude of situations.

Logic Solutions programmed the application to function on iOS and Android platforms, running on both Smartphone and tablet devices.  Once the application is downloaded, users have full access to content without an internet connection.

Mobile technology should be viewed as a boon for sales personnel, not a bogeyman.

Sales 3.0 is giving rise to a new breed of salespeople who can sell more without putting in longer hours that raise the cost of sales.

It bears repeating (and we’ve repeated this fairly regularly in our blog): mobility eliminates the wasted time a field rep spends recording and reporting data from the field to HQ, whether through paper, phone, or inconvenient desktop processes.

Jimmy was featured in a panel discussion focusing on technology and careers in Computer Information Systems at the Eastern Michigan University College of Business Career Day Conference on September 21 in Ypsilanti.

He spoke about Logic’s software development process and the challenge of recruiting top IT talent. Addressing questions from the soon-to-be graduates, he stressed the importance of acquiring hands-on experience in emerging technologies–particularly in mobile development. He also made the case for developing strong communications skills in order to prepare for client engagements. Internships are a great place to start:
