Position Description

• Developing Android Application using Java and Kotlin for infotainment system
• Implementing graphical user-interfaces GUI/HMI
• Provide robust software solutions and isolate defect root causes
• Maintain code in a repository using revision control tools with Jira & GIT
• Software issue troubleshooting, problem solving, root cause analysis
• Participate in design, documentation, unit testing to develop software components
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 2+ years of experience in design, development, and support of Android Applications
• Excellent Java and Kotlin programming skills
• Experience with GUI/HMI software development experience
• Software development experience on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communications, team and people skills; ability to share information and communicate clearly with management and team members
• Ability to multi-task, solve problems and drive critical tasks to completion with minimal supervision
• Experience with infotainment systems is preferred

This is a full-time position reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. This is a salaried position with compensation based on experience and skill level.
