CLIENT BACKGROUND
Diem Direct is a healthcare company offering effective and exclusive solutions to address under-served and emerging needs such as Histamine Intolerance. Diem Direct provides dietary supplements to customers, retailers, and healthcare industry professionals around the world. Customers can simply purchase the products directly from Diem Direct’s eCommerce website at diemnutrition.com and ship them globally.
THE PROBLEM
The legacy website did not fully meet Diem’s needs. Particularly, the SaaS based ecommerce system was not very flexible and therefore offered limited ability for modification. Diem’s marketing department engaged with Logic to build an entirely new website including the eCommerce function.

THE SOLUTION
Logic Solutions worked with Diem Direct LLC to rebuild a new and user-friendly website using the WordPress WooCommerce platform and assisted in migrating the products and customer order data from the legacy system so the new eCommerce site would work immediately without any transition issues.
Based on the site design envisioned by the Diem team, Logic built a responsive website that corresponds with their branding strategy. This new WordPress WooCommerce platform also allows Diem team to easily edit any content, update new photos or add new products on the backend.
Since Diem Direct’s site is an eCommerce website, there are several user roles and pricing rules involved such as retail price, wholesale price, and subscription discounts etc. Logic’s team also customized these pricing rules for Diem Direct on the WooCommerce platform.
In addition, the Logic team took care of the shipping rules. We integrated ShipStation with WooCommerce and modified the shipping rules based upon the location and associated fees.
As with most ecommerce implementations, Logic was required to create an integration with a financial management package. In this case that software was QuickBooks and the pay gateway used was Authorize.Net.
