Logic Solutions’ Mobile App Development Practice Triples

Angela Kujava Press Releases

Revenue and staff increases reflect high market demand

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—July 9, 2012—ANN ARBOR, MI—Logic Solutions, Inc. announced that it expects its mobile app practice to triple in 2012. In response to the increased market demand, Logic has hired 19 new resources including additional iOS and Android programmers, graphic designers, user interface/user experience experts, and QA engineers.

Logic launched its mobile practice in 2009 to capitalize on the increasing popularity of Smartphones, especially users’ avid adoption of app technology. Since then, the firm has programmed more than 37 apps for customers, on iOS, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Mobile platforms, for Smartphones and tablets.

“Last year at this time we still found ourselves educating customers on the importance of mobile technology, but that has almost entirely ceased. People understand why ‘going mobile’ is critical for their business, and are looking for experienced developers to help them get there. It’s been a great boon for us that we started early; our robust portfolio of mobile projects establishes the breadth and depth of our experience,” states Bruce Richardson, President.

Logic has programmed apps for customers in diverse industries, such as medical and healthcare, automotive, education, service, hospitality, consumer products, banking and finance, and entertainment. Clients include Maui Jim, Omaha Steaks, Schwarzkopf Professional, the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology, and more.

Richardson explains, “We have worked on a wide array of app functionality, but our specialty is creating B2B apps and apps that are used internally by companies—ones that require sophisticated integration with existing backend systems. We have built our reputation programming complex systems. Developing apps to interact with them is a natural extension of our domain expertise.”

Logic also launched its own app product in 2011, Showcase, a mobile sales system for field sales reps. Showcase offers an interactive catalog, a marketing and sales materials library, a quote and order entry system, customer lookup, two-way sync with the customer’s database, and extensive offline functionality. Showcase uses data that is fed by a Content Management System the client manages, ensuring continuous dissemination of current materials and prices.

Showcase is more than an app, it’s a sales revolution. More information is available at http://www.showcaserevolution.com.
