Integrated iRemotePrint Allows Hotels to Offer Expanded Business Center Features

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—December 10, 2010—Irvine, CA—Logiclink, Inc. announced the release of iRemote Print, a remote printing technology that is integrated with their Business Automation Centers.  iRemote Print allows hospitality providers to offer remote printing to their guests in addition to other existing business services such as high-speed Internet access, wireless Internet access, document creation and processing, travel information with flight check-in, and more.

The upgrade comes in response to hospitality providers’ wish to increase revenue and simplify their business center services.    LogicLink found that hospitality providers were frequently displeased with their remote printing options, or opted to forego the offering altogether.  Previously, a business could only offer remote printing by contracting that service from a separate provider.  This often resulted in compatibility issues and increased cost.  To eliminate problems and further accommodate the needs of clients, Logiclink provides 24-hour call center support for iRemote Print.

Art Dean, Business Center Manager for 884-room JW Marriott Desert Spring hotel, states, “iRemote Print has been an instant hit with our guests.  It provides them with the ability to print their documents from laptops and mobile devices 24 hours a day, without waiting for the full-service business center to open or downloading drivers directly to their laptop.  Our front desk and concierge staff immediately recognized the value this new system has in addressing one of our business travelers’ immediate concerns.”

The iRemotePrint process is completed in three easy steps.  To print a document to the hospitality provider’s BAC printer, a user emails the document (as an attachment) from a laptop, Smartphone, or other mobile device to a secure email address.  The guest will then receive a confirmation number by return email that they must use to retrieve the document.  Once the guest enters the confirmation number at a Logiclink Business Center, kiosk, or Internet station, the document will print to an adjacent printer.

Logiclink is offering the iRemotePrint service free to hospitality providers currently using BAC.  Roll-out begins immediately.

Business Automation Center (BAC) is a 24-hour automated touch screen office system that offers hotel, airport, and cruise line guests a self-contained, professional area to do business while away from the office. The multi-lingual touch screen system is the most widely used and tested public touch interface.  It processes real-time credit card transactions with instant reporting and remote diagnostics, and a web-based management system. Because of the streamlined automation, BAC systems are a cost-efficient means of increasing revenue for the hospitality providers.
